This is an adequate quilt shop. They have plenty of fabric, but a lot of it is darker or floral, which is totally not my style. They also have a lot of books and more notions than you can shake a stick at. I have never, ever found a fat quarter I liked at their shop--and I am a fat quarter addict! They're a thimbleberry kind of shop and I'm a wild batik kind of quilter.
They do have a lot of classes, but I've never attended one. I have only been in the store twice and now actively avoid it in favor of a friendlier shop in the area. I have never found a helpful person in the store, nor have I ever had an employee me ask what I'm working on or act excited about quilting or fabric. It is a dreary atmosphere. I can't figure out if it is because I am a young quilter and don't fit in with their targeted demographic or if they really are as unhappy as they seemed the two times I've visited.
