I found this shop on the web about seven years ago when I was making curtains for our upstairs living room - I needed extreme amounts of oriental fabric with flying cranes due to large windows, at the time hard to find. I have happily continued shopping their online store.

They carry a large selection or oriental and Hawaiian fabric, retro bark cloth and a full gambit of quilting and apparel fabrics. The customer service is outstanding whether by email or the phone and questions are answered quickly. The website is easy to use, and there is always a permanent Wiki Wiki sale (50% off), a clearance section as well as routinely running other sales at the same time. For instance, their full line of Batiks are on sale at this time (January 2008).

All fabrics are offered in three different cuts - continuous yardage, half yard or fat quarter; are well illustrated with the capacity of enlarged imaging; and, well described as to fiber content, width and quality of fabric, care instructions, maker and special notices about each fabric when applicable. Also appearing on individual fabric pages are the related fabrics to the one you are viewing. If a customer has had a question about a fabric it is posted on the page with the answer.

Shipping is reasonable and timely with email notification.

The main store is in Hilo but there are also stores in Kona, Maui, Kauai and one store on the mainland in Anaheim, CA. They are one of my pilgrimage sites and if I ever get to Hawaii they will surely find me trolling the fabric isles!
